Replacement Tripod Mounting Big Bolt for LX200 & GPS,
LX10, LX50, etc Field Tripod and Giant Field Tripod
The 'big bolt' that mounts the telescope to the tripod in the alt-az configuration
is often a bit too short, especially when a ScopeSaver or Mounting Assistant is
used. Two or three threads of insertion is just not enough for some of us! This
replacement stainless steel threaded rod is the needed 1/2" longer than the
factory part, and has the machined slot for the clip and machined tapered ends.
This is the replacement threaded rod only, you have to remove the cap nut and
big knob from your original rod and install them on the replacement rod.
