TeleGizmos 365 Series Continuous Exposure Telescope Covers
The 365 Series Cover is designed to meet the most demanding equipment
coverage needs including 24/7/365 outside exposure. The 365 series is a
multi layered, dual material design that incorporates our original Solar
Cover material as an inner radiant barrier, coupled to an outer cover made
of high count, acrylic coated woven polyester. This combination of materials
produces an effective cover system capable of providing years of protection,
even when used outside 24/7/365. In fact, we warranty the 365 Covers to
provide this level of protection.
The outer polyester cover is the highest quality acrylic coated weave. This
American made material offers exceptional resistance to UV exposure and
mildew, as well as superior strength and abrasion resistance. Less than 1%
shrinkage or stretch assures continuous proper fit. The water resistance
of this material is outstanding, tested and shown to not allow moisture
penetration from a spray test at 40 PSI, 1/2 inch concentrated stream. The
material manufacturer's exterior exposure rating for this material is 5 years.
Continuing water resistance of this material isn't dependant on periodic
treatment with water guard spray.
The inner liner radiant barrier keeps equipment cooler in the daytime sun,
protecting your equipment from radiant heat build up. As a second layer it
provides additional protection from water penetration, and the air trapped
between the two material layers provides additional thermal insulation.
The two material layers are joined at every seam and are bound at the
opening with a durable welting that contains the shock-cord drawstring.
One very important feature of these covers is that there is no absorbant
material used. Other covers have an inner surface that can absorb moisture
and hold it in contact with your equipment!
Years of strenuous testing in some of the harshest outside environments,
including the desert southwest US, Florida Keys, Colorado @ 8000 feet and
the Texas hill country has proven the 365 Series to be capable of handling
all types of weather on a continuous basis.
Series 365 Covers are warranted for one year from date of purchase including
all labor and material. Continuous 24/7/365 outside (full weather) exposure is
covered in this warranty protection. If your cover fails during the warranty
period due to either a material or manufacturing defect, TeleGizmos will repair
or replace the cover. This warranty does not include abrasion from abnormal
wear. These covers are not warranted to protect your scope from hail, tornado,
hurricane, lightning, flooding or earthquake. All covers increase the wind area
of a telescope and add to the possibility of tipping over in high winds. Always
bind covers and anchor tripods if high winds are possible! All covers are a
potential suffocation hazard and should be kept away from children and some
adults.
Also please note that covers to be returned due to shipping damage must include
the shipping box you received the cover in. Warranty does not apply to covers
that are cut while being unpacked!
Cover size specifications are listed below so you can measure your setup and
select the right cover.
The silver radiant barrier material goes on the inside of the cover, so please
don't turn the 365 covers inside out with the silver on the outside!
