Mounting Adapter For Meade DSI Camera
Our mounting adapter holds the DSI securely in piggyback and stand-
alone installations and allows the use of a cooling fan. Great for
autoguider and wide-angle applications that can be difficult due to
the lack of any mounting method, other than hanging them by the
T-threads.
Made from strong but light weight 1/4" solvent-welded laser cut acrylic.
Mounting holes and slots accept M6 or 1/4"mounting hardware. The
camera and 40mm fan attach to the mounting adapter with supplied
stainless steel hardware. The optional ball-bearing 40mm fan is quiet
and has a 5.5/2.1mm power connector, power cable available below.
This mounting adapter is designed for use with our #DSIF faceplate
on DSI monochrome cameras, and does not work with the DSI filter
slider! Known to work with the original DSI camera, other DSI models
are being researched.
Mounting holes and slots are compatible with our #EQD6 and #TVD1
dovetails, #RSB1 stacking bar, and many other mounting configurations.
